It starts with an exam of your gums and supporting bone. If any teeth need to come out or your gums need time to heal, that happens first. Then we take detailed impressions so the denture fits every ridge of your mouth. Expect a few small adjustments over the first 6 to 12 months as your mouth settles.
It depends on how many healthy natural teeth you still have. If you have several healthy teeth, a partial can fill the gaps and help keep those teeth from shifting. Dr. Jackson will look at your mouth and walk you through the options.
